Recipe for "Rockry"
Take equal parts of a creative and experienced music composer melted slowly with an imaginative pianist, stir a in a pinch of aged Barry Manilow with enough vintage Elton John to notice. Blend with essence of Willy Nelson and voila you have the new and refreshing sound of Rockry* aka a music style ala Lee Michaels.
Take a few minutes to listen to a few samples from Lee Michaels' new CD entitled "My Life" featuring the opening CD song "The Rain Will See Us Through." You will find additional information about Lee on the Biography Link as well as where his music is available.

Lee Michaels Album “My Life” Wins Grindie May 2009
Keyboard Soloist Lee Michaels’ recently released CD “My Life” blends the sound of pop with a touch of classic rock. As an East Coast native you would expect to hear something in the manner of rockers Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi. However, Michaels serenades the listener with songs like “The Rain Will See Us Through” which is a shift from his earlier recordings. Reminiscent of Elton John, Michaels belts out some classic rock with the song “Believe” with a nice balance between the electric piano and vocals. His vocals attain a quality reminiscent of Barry Manilow’s piano ballads high in the mix. If you dig Sir Elton, you will dig “My Life” as it is a treasure of pop music embedded with his artistic piano arrangements which was the primary reason for Lee’s newly released album “My Life” being selected and awarded the Radio Grindie in May 2009
